Atlas Thomas Sauer

Atlas Thomas Sauer was born sleeping at 11:42 A.M. on December 30, 2025 at UNC Health in Chapel Hill, NC. He was born at 24 weeks and 3 days, weighed 1 lb 5.3 oz and was 12.5 inches long. Though his time with us was brief, he will be loved and remembered forever. 

Atlas is deeply cherished by his parents, Braxton and Somer Sauer, and lovingly remembered by his grandparents, Darren and Shana Sauer and Tami Hainds, his uncles, Dalton Sauer and Zach (Jessie) Hill, and all other family members. From the moment he was expected, Atlas brought hope, dreams, and endless love into our lives. 

Atlas was the most beautiful angel - from his abundance of tiny blonde hairs to his crooked pinky fingers and pointy ears. He was the perfect mix of his mom and dad, who will forever miss him and carry him close in their hearts. They take comfort in knowing that he knew nothing but their love and that he will always be able to walk through life with them as their guardian angel.
