Godfrey Abel Woods

Godfrey Abel Woods was born and died on Thursday October 2, 2025, at Duke University Medical Hospital in Durham NC. He is survived by his parents, Garret and Kristy Woods, and his brothers, George Archer and Grant Isaac.

While his time on earth was short, it was spent held in love by his parents, baptized in the Holy Spirit by their pastor, and covered in prayer by friends and family far and wide. He will be dearly missed.

The family is holding a Service of Death and Resurrection at Macedonia United Methodist Church located at 2700 Jones Franklin Road Cary on Saturday October 18th. Visitation will start at 9:00 AM. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM with burial and lunch immediately after.
