John Stuart Hollands

It is with deep sorrow, that we announce the peaceful passing on August 16th, of our beloved brother John, aged 77years.

Born in Gillingham Kent, England, on October 22nd 1948. He attended school  in Switzerland, then went on to graduate from Ravensbourne College of Art and Design in Bromley, Kent. He was an amazing and prolific artist, talented in many areas of art and design. Designing and building furniture and pottery. He wrote beautiful poetry as well as taking photography to an whole other level. His designs in Advertising won him many awards.           He moved to the US in 1978.  

He was a true Renaissance man, quiet, introspective, a loyal and true friend to all who were fortunate to know him.                                                     

He is survived by his sisters Janet and Susan, nephews Stan, Alan, Max and Robin and various cousins living in the UK.

He will be forever missed, forever loved.

At his request, no funeral service will be held.
