Larry Allison Manning

Larry Allison Manning, affectionately known as "Peanut," passed away peacefully at home on November 18, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on September 25, 1961, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, Larry was a man of quiet strength and was always found with a book close by, reflecting his love for learning and introspection.

Larry received his law degree from the University of North Carolina, an achievement that highlighted his commitment to education and justice. His dedicated service as a member of the United States Navy speaks volumes about his character and his willingness to serve his country.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Donna Manning; his caring mother, Marcia Manning; and his brother, Hank Manning. Larry’s family also includes his step-daughter, Amy Shoop, and four cherished grandchildren: Kimberly Davenport, Anthony Kokoruda Jr., Stephen Kokoruda, and Matthew Kokoruda. Niece Nikki Fly, Great Niece Adelyn Fly, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Manning.

Peanut will be be can be made deeply missed by all of his family and friends.  Per his wishes, there will be no services. Memorials can be made in his name to any Veteran's organization.
