Mary “Frances” Hodgin

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved grandmother Mary “Frances” Hodgin who peacefully passed away at the age of 87 on March 13, 2025 at Alamance Regional in Burlington, NC.

Born on October 19, 1937, Frances was the daughter of Rosie Mansell. She lived a long, full life and she will greatly be missed by her family and anyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is preceded in death by her first husband Edward Wood, her second husband Buster Hodgin, her mother Rosie Mansell, her sister Joy Bell Hopkins, and her granddaughter Kimberly Wood. She is survived by her daughter Mary Blanton, her son Tommy Wood, six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
