Pacita Venturina

With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Pacita Venturina, 88 years old. She peacefully joined our Creator on July 21 surrounded with her family at home in Durham, NC.

Born on May 7, 1938 in Nueva Ecija, Philippines to Pascual Aguilar and Honoria Blas. Nanay Pacing is a dedicated wife, loving mother and grandmother. She will always be remembered for her strong faith, unconditional love, kindness and generous heart. She never fails to help relatives or friends in need. She had instilled good moral values in life to our family and relatives. She’s well known for cooking the best native sweets (kakanin)in our subdivision and had been sold out. Also a very hardworking mother making sure that everything is done in timely manner at home.

She is now reunited in eternal peace with her loving husband, Cornelio Venturina.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her only daughter, Ana, son-in-law, Jun and grandson, Gabe and future granddaughter in law, Bianca. She took care of her nieces like her own daughters since childhood, Myrna, Corazon, Mercy and Cecilia. Nephew-in-laws, Raphy, Verly, Aris and grandchildren, Matthew & Regine, Cerena & Everzon, Carlo, Samantha & Claris. She is also survived by her sibling as well as extended family, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and friends whose lives she touched dearly.

A funeral service will be celebrated on July 24 at 12:30p at Endswell funeral home in Hillsborough.

May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
