Our precious daughter, Solana Marie Stanford, was born sleeping on July 14, 2026. Though our time together was far too short, she filled our hearts with a love that will last a lifetime.

Solana's name means sunrise. A sunrise is the beginning of a new day—a promise that light follows even the darkest night. She was our sunrise. From the moment we learned she was growing, she brought hope, joy, and immeasurable love into our lives.

We dreamed of holding her, watching her grow, hearing her laugh, and seeing the beautiful person she would become. Though those dreams changed, our love for her never will. We held her close, treasured every precious moment, and will carry her with us for the rest of our lives.

Sunflowers always turn toward the light, and forget-me-nots remind us that love never truly fades. They will forever remind us of our sweet Solana—our sunrise, our hope, and our daughter.

We find peace in knowing that she is held safely in the arms of Jesus, where there is no pain and only perfect love. Until the day we are together again, we will look for her in every sunrise, remember her in every field of sunflowers, and carry her always in our hearts.
