Vada Kaye Suttles

Leland - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vada Kaye Suttles on March 24, 2026. Vada was a kind, friendly, and gentle soul who touched the lives of many with her warmth and humor. She was always quick with a joke and loved to laugh, bringing joy to those around her.

Vada dedicated her professional life to residential cleaning, where she was known for her diligence and attention to detail. Beyond her work, she found great joy in arts and crafts, often spending hours creating beautiful pieces. She also enjoyed solving puzzles, a pastime that reflected her sharp mind and patience.

In her later years, Vada cherished her time at the senior resource center in Leland, where she formed many dear friendships. Her presence there was a source of light and laughter, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Vada was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Louis "Ray" Suttles, and her mother, Thelma Goodwill Lavy. She leaves behind her sons, Jimmy Vaughn and Kelly Vaughn, her cherished granddaughter, Tessa Vaughn, and an extended family who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.

An inurnment service is planned for Tuesday, April 7th, 2026 at 10:30AM at Bynum Methodist Church Cemetery. Vada's family appreciates the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. May her gentle spirit and infectious laughter continue to inspire us all.
